Potentially great people have moments in their lives when they need someone who can hold space for them. Someone who will listen without judgement. I see great people every day who need someone to be that person and I work with them on their life journey. My gift is helping clients see new perspectives, rewrite narratives in their lives, and discover self-awareness. Working towards healthy perceptions of self and building strong relationships helps my clients to establish a more capable, peaceful, and safe environment.
Individuals, couples, and families need specialized approaches for their unique situations so my therapeutic approaches are solution focused, CBT, narrative, positive psychoanalysis, and I work from a strength-based perspective. I graduated from Midwestern State University 2022 with a Masters of Art in clinical mental health counseling. I became a therapist because I have a passion for helping others see the wonder in themselves. I believe in you and I am here to support you by addressing the challenges you encounter. I’m excited to work with you on discovering what life is doing for you.
I’m trained in multiple therapies (like CBT and DBT) that will assist us in identify the thoughts and patterns that are not working to get you where you want to be. When we can change a situation together, we will. When we can’t, we’ll find a way to look at it differently. Sometimes a small shift in perspective can change your entire life.
I welcome people dealing with all types of issues, including military and law enforcement matters, trauma, infidelity, LGBTQ challenges, ADHD, grief, and domestic violence. I know therapy can feel intimidating. I want to make it easier for you, by offering safety, acceptance and even humor when you need it. Contact me or visit my website to set up a free consultation and see how I can help.

I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, but a lifelong wife, dog mom, teacher, and friend. As a former special education teacher, I helped students grow and realize their full potential, even when the system had given up on them. After several years of rewarding work, I felt a calling to broaden my skill set to include both children and adults. Since 2020, I have been on a personal journey to not only grow myself and re-discover my purpose but to be a resource to others who are interested in doing the same.
My counseling philosophy and approach to care is individualistic in nature. As I did while working with people with disabilities, I like to tailor each counseling relationship to suit my clients. This means I work with you to develop a unique plan to help you reach the goals you set for yourself. Nothingcookie-cutter about it, unless you're interested in culinary therapy!
Utilizing a blend of (but not limited to), Gestalt, Somatic Psychology, Solution-Focused,
Person-Centered, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), I approach each and every client with an open heart, open mind, and unconditional positive regard. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals.
